How Will It Play?-----------------------------------------------
Character Movement is done in analog stick
move the camera with the direction pad
Lock on/off on your opponent with the Left shoulder button (or L-trigger)
Defend by pressing right shoulder button (or R-trigger)
Dodge enemy attacks by pressing right shoulder button and pressing the cross button at the same time (Rtrigger+X)
When there is a cursor on the wall or an ledge, press the triangle button to wall run or slide a ledge (a great way to keep distance to your opponent)
Press the circle button to perform a BP (brave points) attack, repeatedly press it to do combos. Doing so will deplete your opponents BP and add it to your own BP
Press the cross button to jump (X button)
Press the square button to perform an HP ( an attack towards your opponents health) attack. The HP attack is slow but when it hits, you will damage your opponent’s health equivalent to your BP. For example, you have 345 BP and decide to do a HP attack, if it hits, you damage your opponent for 345 HP and your current BP turns to zero. Then you have to start comboing opponent again to gain more BP (see also picture)
Press start to pause and see your character status and set your skill from there

Break status is gotten when you deplete your opponent BP to zero. If your opponent reached Break status, you will receive the BP in the BP pool (the Brave points in between you and your opponent health bar)

Keep hitting your opponent with combo attacks and he will drop small EX orbs that you can collect to fill your EX gauge with. If you wait for a while the EX orbs will be drawn to EX cores. There are two different EX cores, EX cores with one wing fills 1/2 of your EX gauge while two winged EX cores fully fills up your ex gauge.
The EX gauge is the purple crystal bar next to your character image during gameplay. When the EX gauge is full you can enter EX mode. During ex mode you get status changing buffs like protect and haste and you get stronger and different combo attacks during EX mode.
To enter EX mode, have your EX gauge full and then press square+cross buttons to activate EX mode.
If you do a HP attack during EX mode, a square icon will show up on the screen. Press the square to perform a EX burst (note: if HP attack is successful, your BP Turns to zero like normal. you dont get keep your BP during an EX burst.
EX burst works kinda like limits in FF7. The EX burst will first start out as a mini-game with you keep attacking with your combo attack to build up your BP and if you complete the mini-game you will do one last attack in form of a HP attack for massive damage.

Rules--------------------------------------------------------
Chaos Judgement
After a set period of time passes in a battle, an amount of damage dealt and the critical hit rate will start rising. However, if you don’t attack for a set period of time, they will start falling. In short, this rule gavors players who fight constantly without fleeing.
Cosmos Judgement
In this rule set, both sides are given one rescue measure when in trouble. This is a rule for novices or player who enjoy come from behind wins.
Double Judgement
In this rule, both Chaos rules and Cosmos rules are in effect
Goblets/Ether-----------------------------------------------
You will notice goblets of ether on the map once in a while, after using up a skill these goblets will recover the skill used. Use them! Notice however that they will use up a DP to activate.
Yellow Tiles---------------------------------------------------
The Yellow Tiles on the map will disappear after your first play-through. More specifically, after getting a total of 600 Story Points (those points at the end of a chapter) a special summon is acquired which removes the yellow tiles present in that present character's story mode.
Dashing------------------------------------------------------
Air Dash (LVL 8 ) and Air Dash R (LVL 18) allows you to dash toward or away from the opponent respectively by pressing triangle while you’re on map objects (climbing wall, grinding rails, etc). The Free Air Dash from lv 12 allows you to dash toward the opponent at anywhere/anytime by pressing:
R + Triangle.
More HP Attacks/Combo-----------------------------------------
After Mastering your basic circle attacks a new set of square attacks will appear as though they branch off of the circle attakcs. What you must do is first use the circle attack the square attack is equipped and then immediately follow that up by pressing square while still in the air or on the ground.
Battle Rise (Battle Gen)----------------------------------------------
Battle Rise items are accessories that double as material items for trading at the shop. Right before a match, you can view which Battle Rise you can obtain (if any); each item will have a sword icon (the condition), the name of the item, and the percentage chance of obtaining it.
Every time you fulfill the condition, you have a chance to obtain that item according to the percentage. i.e. one item has a BRK icon with a 5.2%-- every time you Break your opponent there's a 5.2% chance to acquire it. (This also means after you Break, you have to let them recover their Brave until the numbers are white again in order to break them again. Hitting them again while they're already "broken" will not cause the item to drop.) When you acquire the item, it'll appear in the upper left corner of the screen along with some bonus exp. After the battle it'll tell you that you acquired the item just to confirm.
Now access the Battle Rise menu (its right under the EX mode option). You should see a list of all the accessories and what characters you can obtain them from. Press Triangle here to switch to the Icon view. Note that on the left next to the characters picture, there is a Lv. requirement. This is the minimum level that opponent has to be in order to even have a chance at the item (fighting them higher than this level also raises the percentage to obtain). For BG conditions, you simply have to fight on that stage. Once you've obtained at least (1) of a character's Battle Rise item(s), you will unlock their next tier of item(s). Check the Battle Rise menu; you'll see the item you obtained checked off and a 'new' tag on their next item (usually with a different condition and higher Lv).
With each new item the shop will usually receive an update for Trade items. This is the only way to obtain certain equipment (including the ultimate gear for characters who have reached Lv 100). Also to unlock the villains Battle Rise Items, you subsequently have to obtain at least 1 Battle Rise Item from their respective heroes. You HAVE to unlock the item in the BR menu in order to make it obtainable, otherwise no matter how many times you fight a character, they won't drop it.
Last but not least, the PP catalog under the ETC. tab, the top 2 options that cost 30 PP are "increase item drop rate" and "increase Battle Rise percentage" respectively. Each time you take it they're good for one battle and dissappear, but you can take it multiple times; definitely needed for those higher tier items.
Conditions (what is known so far)

Sword w/BRK -- Reduce your opponent's Brave past 0 to put them in "Break" status.

Sword w/square icon -- Connect with HP attacks.

Sword w/EX -- Connect with an Ex Burst.

Sword w/BG -- Slam your opponent into stage obstacles, walls, floors, etc.
Quick PP/EXP Gain-------------------------------------------
Find a date on your (Dissidia) calender where you get PP/EXP for that day, change your PSP system clock to that date, load the game up and voila! Just keep changing the year over and over (You still have to load the game though) and it'll stack up pretty fast.
Quick AP Gain-----------------------------------------------
1. Set on Special Day + all plus AP bonuses from PP store
2. Use the same skill on multiple slots to double/triple AP gain for that skill
3. Take advantage of AP chance (does anyone have the translation for this?)
4. While doing all the steps from 1-3. i believe its best to battle a Level 1 chaos on Vs mode since:
a. the stage is small so you can 1-hit kill him with anything
b. he comes in 3 consecutive battles (less loading for you)
c. lastly, if u got AP chance on the first match u are guaranteed AP bonuses on the next two!
Per battle I get like 12 AP or 18 AP when its AP chance. Pretty handy IMO
For mastering those abilities, use this. This is after the main story is beat.Set the PSP Date to your SPECIAL DAY.
Upgrade AP gain through the PP store. (Should be at +30 at this point)
Buy as many Diamond Rings as possible, and equip one to the character you're wanting to master.
Go to Quick Battle.
Select Chaos as your opponent.
Set his level to 1.
Earn up to 72AP (with you getting the AP bonus) per match (it's over three battles, but when he's at lv1, you can oneshot him EASY).
Rematch.
-It's considered that the player has maxed out his special day bonuses, which is easily one of the first things one should do anyway.
-The method above doesn't require any equipment (or equip combos) other than the Diamond Ring accessory. It CAN be further improved by a certain equip combo (and other things), but that's per character. The above build is generic and can be used by any character.
-It's recommended to be at least lv.21 when starting this (but I doubt this will be a problem at the point one is able to even pull this off). Chaos is still dangerous even 40 levels below you due to the sheer cheapness of his moveset.
-Diamond Rings are 10,000 Gil each. Use a Special Day bonus to get them cheaper, then change the psp date to another special day until the extra bonus is something preferable. You want to buy in bulk.
-This method will earn you 120PP per match (it's in three phases) during a maxed special day, before other bonuses. EXP and Gil earned are minimal, though (it IS lv.1).
Chocobo Bonus EXP----------------------------------------------------
Part 1Basically, what you want to do before leveling your character that's going to be power leveled via EX-death is to play another character that will fight a level 1 character and win that match (It doesn't matter who, if you want to use your to-be-leveled char as well, that's fine). If you see the Chocobo going KWEH with a "Key note" bubble, proceed to the next paragraph. If not, re-do this step of killing any character until you get the Key-note bubble In this step. Here, feel free to press the RETRY button upon winning if you did not get the "Key Note" bubble.
When you have seen the key-note buble for the first time, from my observations, you DO NOT want to press retry again. I repeat, do NOT press retry again. Instead, press the second option and go to character selection. Now, press Triangle to go to your customize menu and you will see that you now have EXP 1.2x for next battle. After looking at that, press X and go back to the character selection. Now, just keep hitting circle again until the battle starts again. This means that you will still be using the character that is NOT power leveling yet. Kill any level 1 hero and end the match.
After that is over, repeat the process again, go back to character selection, press triangle to see the customize screen again, and you'll now see 1.5x exp. Again, initiate the same battle with the same hero again, and win it. After winning, go back to character selection and then the customize menu and you'll now see 2.0x exp.
Do the same basic steps again as mentioned above (You should have gotten it by now), and when you return for the last time, you will now finally see it big flashy gold [3.0x EXP].
Okay, after achieving this, then choose whatever character you want to farm with Exdeath and then initiate the real battle (Don't forget to adjust the levels, the CPU difficulty, etc). Remember to be serious and concentrated, this exp bonus will ONLY last for this battle alone. Hence, it is important to let your opponent to pick up Ex-cores and let them activate their ex-modes. Make sure that their ex-mode rejuvenates their HP.
Then, just keep hitting them, and you will now get 4k ~ 12k exp per hit depending on how much damage you're doing. Whenever they're EX-Mode is about to run around (From here on, it's speculation), I'm guessing you can help him recharge his bar by using O attacks. Hit him O attacks that damage for very little BP but does a multitude of it. You should see his EX-Gauge go up dramatically again. This then preserves the regen for him, and you should be able to keep poking him until you're level 100 (The question of which is more time efficient; the time spent on letting him regen versus prepping the whole setup again with 3.0x exp is uncertain, but if anyone wants to test it out, feel free to do so) .
If all else fails, and you accidentally kill him, just repeat the steps outlined above, and get the 3.0x exp again.
You MUST go to the customize screen to look at the Chocobo's exp bonus. If you just press RETRY, you will lose the EXP bonus even if you won the match. Oh, if I didn't already mention, you must WIN the initial matches to chain the exp-bonuses.
Part 2When you get a x5 exp bonus
After a battle, after the game saves, don't choose any of the options(rematch, change character, title screen)
Instead, exit the game and load the game, you will find that the x5 exp bonus is still there.
Rinse and repeat
Also, try finishing your opponents with your EX burst, you'll get more exp
Chocobo Rewards-----------------------------------------------------
By pressing R button while you are in the character customize screen and it will give you access to 3 options . These 3 options can affect the Chocobo screen you see also on your character customize screen .
By choosing the 1st option, after 20 battles you get an accessory called ' Chocobo Feather ' (?) +20% EXP & 30% Chance of breaking .
By choosing the 2nd option, after 40 battles you will get an accessory which I do not know yet lol but its +50% EXP & 30% chance of breaking . ( I'm not quite sure on this yet , hope someone can clarify )
By choosing the 3rd option , after 60 battles you will get an accessory called ' Chocobo Tail ' . +100% EXP and 30% chance of breaking .
By breaking I mean that if you equip them for battle, it will give you bonus to your exp but has a 30% of being lost FOREVER.
CP Bar-------------------------------------------------------
There are green and blue parts to this bar. Green corresponds to your equipped attacks and blue indicates the amount of CP used by your skills (Action, Support, and Extra)
Play Plan-------------------------------------------------------------
Upon starting the game, you'll be asked your play plan. This determines what items you'll receive as bonuses. The list goes as follows.
First Option: A little.
Second Option: Casually.
Third Option: Every hour on the hour.
A little: Your Chocobo starts finding items after fifteen battles.
Casually: Your Chocobo starts finding items after thirty battles.
Every hour on the hour: Your Chocobo starts finding items after sixty battles.
The longer it takes, the better the loot. For example, you get the Chocobo Hair (+20% exp, 30% chance the accessory will break) accessory from the 15 battle one. From the 30 battle one, I've gotten Chocobo Feather (+50% exp, 30% chance to break.) The Chocobo is viewable via Quick Battle menu.
Costumes (Alternate Form)-----------------------------------------------
To change costume for you character, simply just press Triangle while on the Customize Menu of your chosen character. The japanese word beside the word FORM should change.
Chocobo------------------------------------------------------------
When the chocobo appears during the loading screen after a fight
this means that you have either gotten a new item or you will be
getting an EXP multiplier during your next battle.
Rosetta Stone--------------------------------------------------------
Finish a chapter with more than 7 DP and you will sometimes get a Rosetta Stone.
Rosetta Stones are not for learning new languages but instead add an extra accessory slot.
To add the actual extra accessory slot you must navigate to the ETC.
tab in the PP shop and trade the Rosetta Stone for the first option.
It appears Rosetta Stones can also be obtained from final boss battles and getting them from Blue chests on subsequent playthroughs.
Duel Coliseum---------------------------------
Players choose their character and then pick an enemy level range: 1-30, 31-60, 61-90, and 91-130.
Three cards are presented to the player, which could be a fight, job card, treasure, or boss fight. Fights are worth "medal" which can be traded in for treasure.
Losing a battle means the loss of half the value of the fight and an available card to choose from: Losing a +6 fight results in a loss of 3 medal.
Job cards have special effects, but the only one I’ve been able to figure out is the Knight card, which adds another card to the choice pool.
This is just another way to level up your characters, while collecting gear and PP (currency used to buy unlocks like playable characters, stages, and music).
Duel Coliseum Job Cards---------------------------
In Duel Colliseum, there are Job Cards, which can be obtained to be
used in this Mode. These Job Cards gives various benefits (a few of
them isn't), so be sure to grab Job Cards that benefits you most.
Here's the informations regarding the Job Cards:
Active/Instant-effect CardsMonk: The next Battle Card will become the weakest.
Dragoon: Dicard a card at the selection area. Dragoon card will appear again. (Cannot discard Bosses)
Summoner: Force cards on the next hand to be all Treasure or Job cards.
Samurai: Remove all boss cards from the selection area. (Cannot discard Chaos)
Mime: Becomes a random Job Card.
Passive CardsBlue Mage: Increases the appearance rate of Job cards.
White Mage: Restore all HP after battle.
Black Mage: Increases the appearance rate of rare Battle cards.
Thief: Increases the appearance rate of Treasure cards.
Knight: Increases card selection area by 1. Effect will be lost after losing a battle.
Ninja: Losing a battle will not cause the player to lose medals or Card Luck.
Red Mage: Cards at the selection area will not be discarded.
Time Mage: Increases card Luck by 1.
Ranger: Earn more medals after battle.
Mystic Knight: Card Luck becomes easier to raise.

For Sage mode select Spells menu > Holy
まほう --> ホーリー
Spells has a white orb beside it
For Ninja mode select Throw/Item menu > Shuriken
なける --> しゆりけん
Shuriken has a shuriken/star beside it
EX Death's Shield------------------------------------
Green: Only reflects light projectiles, last a short amount of time, quick recovery
Blue: Reflects light projectiles and blocks almost all brave attacks, last longer, longer recovery
Red: Reflects almost al projectiles and blocks/cancles damn near all physical attacks (including some HP attacks), last infinitely, long recovery
Acquiring High Level Weapons/Armor/Materials---------------------------
credits to: mahki !thumbup
High probability of getting lvl90+ weapons/armor/materials defeat the desired character at Max AI Difficulty

Max everything to make the opponent hard to defeat

any map will do

On defeat a random item can be given to you as reward. May it be a weapon, armor, gloves, helm or materials for creating their end game items. Only a high probability but not always

Sometimes it is limited only for one person and sometimes it is restricted to a few.
Characters' EX Modes In Chronological Order--------------------------
* Warrior of Light slashes through his opponents like a "Dazzling Flash". Six Slashes, each needing a D-Button press.
* Garland changes the form of his sword for his EX Mode. You need to Mash Circle for it to work.
* Yes, after Firion slashes the opponent with his sword, spear, axe, dagger, and bare hands, he will launch all of his weapons from his bow as a final strike. How awesome is that? The command is similar to Auron's Bushido: 5 Buttons you have to press as quickly as possible.
* The Emperor will literally dominate you and then blow you up with his EX Burst. You need to press the button that's flashing on the screen to execute his EX burst, and you need to do it five times.
* We all know Onion Knight's specials. Just make sure you select Shuriken and Holy really fast.
* Cloud of Darkness fires her Particle Cannon a la Shiva from FFVIII and FFX. You need to hold the Circle Button down until the meter reaches 120%.
* Cecil's Double Phase starts with Paladin slashes, then he uses the original FFIV version of Darkside from Dark Knight mode, and then finishes off with a cross-shaped slash in Paladin mode. It looks like for him, you need to press both a D-Button and a Face Button at the same time for three commands, and it's up how fast you can input.
* Golbez first makes his Shadow Dragon attacks, and then he finished the opponent with Double Meteo. His input style is similar to Cecil, but it seems to be based on timing instead of speed (you have to press the buttons as they pass by, a la DDR or Renzokuken)
* Bartz attacks four times, each time with two different swords equipped (the first is Buster Sword + Brotherhood), and ends by combining all Eight Swords into his own for Brave Blade (I'm assuming it's all swords except Terra's and his own). You need to input two D-Buttons every time he attacks with a two-sword slash.
* Exdeath will imprison his opponent in a super gravity field, shrink them, and crush them in his hands. Hold Circle until the bar goes down to 0 for his EX burst.
* Terra transforms into her Esper Mode, and attacks with Riot Sword, her signature attack. You need to tap both a D-Button AND a Face Button very quickly in order to build up the bar. And as with the other EX Bursts, the faster you build it up, the stronger it gets.
* Kefka's EX burst is now rightly named Light of Judgment, and it's where he uses the power of the Warring Triad to smite enemies down with his powerful Light Cannon. You will need to memorize three D-Button commands given to you by the three symbols, and input them as quickly and accurately as possible.
* Cloud's Super Ultimate War God Supreme Decapitation(Omnislash) is similar to the FFVII version, and I think it needs no explanation. You mash the circle button as fast as you can to break the Limit Gauge.
* Sephiroth's Supernova has been toned down from its ridiculous cutscene in FFVII, but he makes up for it by throwing his opponent straight into the Supernova. Like Cloud, mash the Circle Button quickly to break the Limit Gauge.
* Squall's Renzokuken is largely unchanged from FFVIII, with the exception that Lion Heart is now limited to the last blow (so Cloud gets the entire Omnislash put in, but Squall doesn't?). You need to time the pressing of the R Button right to cause the damage to be 100% Critical.
* Ultimecia's Time Compression fires multiple magic arrows onto the opponent, and she finishes the opponent off with Apocalypse, only here it's called End of Memories. The attack is similar to Squall's (toned-down) Renzokuken, although you press Circle instead of R to fire.
* Zidane's Reverse Gaia, as shown in the tutorial, is a series of quick, relentless slashes. You need to mash circle to fill up the four bars and make the finisher hit a lot of times.
* Kuja's Last Requiem works in the same principle as Zidane's Reverse Gaia, only instead of slashing the opponent, he prefers to rain down Ultima on them. Mahsing Circle will also make the Finale very strong.
* Tidus' Blitz Ace remains largely unchanged from the original. You still have to line up the arrow in the middle, and the less time you consume, the bigger the damage will be.
* Jecht's Blitz King is beyond epic; after slashing the opponent, Jecht Shots a gigantic boulder into the opponent before destroyed the boulder with a JEKUTOOOO FINGAAAAA, causing the boulder to both hit the opponent & shower him/her with debris. You need to do a Blitz Ace timing maneuver for both the Jecht Shot AND the JEKUTOOOO FINGAAAAA.
DP Requirements-----------------------------------------------------
In Story Mode if you press R-trigger on the map screen, it changed into search mode. Notice that you can see certain monsters have some Requirement, which allows you to earn Destiny Points (DP). And if you fullfill the condition.. you’ll get a free DP. If you chained both monsters with special conditions, you might get 2 DP back at a cost of 1 DP.

inedit ko lang ng konti mali kasi yung isang translation..
The "Charge into map" refers to you having to push your opponent into the wall.

Exclusive Weapons------------------------------------------------------
Ultimate Weapons FAQExclusive Weapons no longer can be dropped from Inward Chaos, sorry folks. They can however be dropped from high difficulty enemies from the Blackjack Coliseum course (Unlocked after beating Inward Chaos), although the chances of them equipping them are very rare.
PLEASE NEVER EVER SELL ANY LVL 1 EXCLUSIVE WEAPONS.
There never really is any use to sell any equipment WHATSOEVER! Gil is of no real priority in this game as the purchasable equipment is generally no better than equipment you can readily make. As a general tactic, NEVER SELL ANYTHING, this includes weapons, armours, accessories etc. As almost anything can be made of use for synthesising purposes.
Each exclusive weapon consists of getting three separate loots. The first loot required will be their previous exclusive weapon which can be gotten from a chain of creations. You only require one of these.
The second item will be 5 rare loots which can be found in the Lunar Whale Coliseum course. Fortunately things are easier now in that these can ALL be traded by megalixers, again available in the same course. Needless to say you’ll be spending a lot of time in there.
The third item will be 5 of the rarest battlegen dropped from the relevant character whose ultimate weapon you are creating. Acquiring these are very difficult and the chances of obtaining them are very slim. Below level 100 the chances of creating them is ~0.1% before taking any multipliers/bonuses into affect. They require you to BREAK your opponent’s BRAVE in order to obtain them. The only exception is Gabranth, who you have to inflict with an ExBurst to obtain his rarest battlegen.
Before I begin I should state the Coliseum is where a lot of time will be spent collecting elixirs. The rule is generally if loot is found in a certain Course, then the Elixir found in that course will trade for that item in the shop:
Dusty Elixirs are found in the Airship Course.
Elixirs are found in the Falcon Course.
Hi-Elixirs are found in the Invincible Course.
Megalixers are found in the Lunar Whale Course.
Okay so here’s a breakdown of all the exclusive weapons, in numerical FF order.
